McDaniel: Focus remains on 1-6 Dolphins, not job
""The way I look at this job is I find it very offensive to all parties involved if I'm thinking about having the job -- I need to be doing my job," he said. "So for as long as I coach for the Miami Dolphins and this organization, they'll get everything from me. And I refuse to spend my time thinking about (my job security) ... You have a job, you do your job and you do it to the best of your ability.""

Miami lost 31-6 to Cleveland, dropping to 1-6 and marking the worst start since 2021. Coach Mike McDaniel said he will not spend time worrying about his job and emphasized committing fully to the team and organization. McDaniel called spending time on personal job concerns offensive to coaches, players and the organization and said his focus is doing his job to the best of his ability. Miami committed 11 penalties for 103 yards and turned the ball over four times, including three interceptions by Tua Tagovailoa and a fumble by returner Dee Eskridge, which compounded players' frustrations.
