Charlie Dalrymple, Woodside football: The junior completed 8 of 9 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns as Woodside completed a 10-0 regular season with a 42-14 victory on the road over Milpitas."
Bay Area News Group runs a weekly boys Athlete of the Week poll open to reader voting for standout performances from Nov. 3-8. Readers may vote freely until polls close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, with email votes and any bot or artificial voting methods prohibited. Winners are announced each Friday online and in the Mercury News and East Bay Times sports sections. Nominations for future polls are accepted by email to highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com until 11 a.m. Monday, and submitted statistics from coaches or team statisticians are reviewed. Nominees this week include Adonyae Brown, Charlie Dalrymple, Noah Defaii and Andrew Fernandez, cited for key football and water polo performances.
