Officers arrested a 59-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man without incident. Both were booked on suspicion of second-degree promoting gambling and possession of a gambling device. Investigators recovered 12 gambling machines and seized cash and illegal drugs allegedly connected to the operation. Seized items were entered into evidence as the investigation continued. The Kalihi raid followed other enforcement actions targeting backroom gambling operations on Oahu, including a prior raid in Wahiawa.
