The sale marks the first time in the home's 148-year history that it has changed hands."

"According to a local report from when the house hit the market in October, asking $3.25 million, it was built in 1880 from reclaimed shipwreck lumber transported by a single horse and log rollers. Until now, it had remained under the ownership of a single family. "Our family has cherished this home for generations, and while it's hard to say goodbye, we're hopeful the next owner will love it as much as we have," a representative told the outlet."
