"Doors 6 through 13 at Terminal 3 are slated to be inaccessible to passengers starting Tuesday and continuing until 2027. "Since most of the Terminal 3 departure level curbside will be closed off for the construction, we're recommending passengers get dropped off either at Terminal 2 or on the lower/arrival level of Terminal 3," SFO spokesperson Doug Yakel told SFGATE in an email, which means travelers should consider allowing extra time to navigate to their departure gates."
"SFO is also closing the Terminal 3 AirTrain station and converting the Terminal 2 stop into a shared stop for terminals 2 and 3. The United ticket counters in the east end of Terminal 3 will remain open, according to the airport's news release, but a new United ticket counter will open in Terminal 2 for passengers departing from the D and E gates."
