"Crotched Mountain, New Hampshire, closed out the season with its annual May Day park event, bringing together more than 150 riders on Sunday, May 3, for one final spring shred. The donation-based, hike-to terrain park is 100% volunteer-built, with 100 percent of proceeds supporting local community organizations."
"The event took place on May 3 from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Crotched Mountain terrain park. Skiers and riders hiked up to the terrain park to hit jumps, features, and the last patches of snow on the mountain. The event included food, raffles, prizes, and music. Admission was $10 per participant, with all proceeds going to donations."
"More than just a season send-off, this year's May Day event turned passion into purpose. All proceeds were donated to the Antrim Skate Park in memory of Seth Fowler, a beloved local skier, skateboarder, and terrain park community member who grew up riding the slopes of Crotched Mountain. The event honored Seth's legacy by investing directly into the community he cared so deeply about."
""My goal with May Day is to inspire the youth in our community to see that they are part of something bigger-and that they have the power to make an impact on the world around them," Trevor Hunt, Terrain Park Lead and May Day organizer, told SnowBrains. Antrim Skatepark is located in the town of Antrim, New Hampshire, and features a large concrete skateboarding area that skaters of all skill levels can enjoy."
