Adidas to release Bayern Munich lifestyle jersey
"The shirt is quite simple, with a white/light beige background with neon orange details - stripes, logos, and collar. Both the Bayern and Adidas logos are in retro style. The shirt comes without a sponsor. The shirt closely resembles the away kit from the 2012/13 season. It was worn during the club's historic first treble, most notably in the Bundesliga title-clinching game at Eintracht Frankfurt, when Bastian Schweinsteiger scored the only goal of the game through a nifty backheel."
"The shirt also slightly resembles the 2020/21 away kit, which was worn in the 8-2 drubbing of FC Barcelona en route to the second treble. This is not the first time that Adidas have released a lifestyle collection for clubs. They have also done so over the past few seasons. However, the main difference is that both years' shirts were based on the third shirt of the corresponding seasons, rather than a retro design."
Adidas plans a lifestyle line of shirts inspired by club jersey designs, with Bayern Munich included. The leaked Bayern design features a white/light beige base with neon orange stripes, logos, and collar, and retro-styled Bayern and Adidas logos, presented without a sponsor. The design closely resembles the 2012/13 away kit worn during Bayern's first treble, including the title-clinching game at Eintracht Frankfurt when Bastian Schweinsteiger scored via a backheel, and slightly resembles the 2020/21 away kit worn in the 8-2 win over Barcelona. Previous Adidas lifestyle releases were based on each season's third shirt rather than retro designs. The new line will release in late 2025.
