"How much more can be said that has not been said already? To see this writer's thoughts on the U-23s, read the last two week's entries into the Campus Round Up. All that can be said is that they cannot seem to win a match at the moment and are just 6 points clear of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, two more players in Rüger and Heindl got injured, adding to the obscene injury list. It is not looking good."
The U-23 lineup featured Klanac, Manuba, Dettoni, Puljić, Dalpiaz, Ličina, Nasrawe, Deziel Jr., Darboe, Meier and Heinz. Goals in the match came from Nitaj (10'), an own goal by Dettoni (42') and Herger (60') for a 3-0 scoreline. Multiple players were unavailable and two additional players, Rüger and Heindl, suffered injuries, further swelling the long injury list. The U-23s have struggled to win and sit six points clear of the relegation zone. The U-17s fielded Podar-Stiube, Ajayi, Pucci, Zogaj, El-Chaar and others, with Hentcho Nseke scoring twice and von Taube once in a 3-0 win. Five of fourteen preliminary-stage games remain for the U-17s.
