Now YouTube TV lets you multiview any channel you want
"YouTube CEO Neal Mohan announced that YouTube TV is getting 'fully customizable' multiview, giving users 'full control to mix and match live streams' and build their personalized viewing experience."
"You can pin up to four streams in your multiview window, enhancing the flexibility and personalization of the viewing experience for subscribers."
"YouTube initially introduced multiview in a limited form in 2023, focusing on preselected streams of sports content, and later expanded it to include news, business, and weather programming."
"Custom multiview will be available to subscribers of both YouTube TV and the more than 10 genre-specific plans, according to spokesperson Allison Toh."
YouTube TV is launching a fully customizable multiview feature, enabling users to mix and match live streams according to their preferences. Users can pin up to four streams in their multiview window. Initially, multiview was introduced in 2023 for preselected sports streams and later expanded to news, business, and weather content. An experiment for custom multiviews with select non-sports content was rolled out last year, and the feature will be available to all YouTube TV subscribers and genre-specific plan users.
