New Hampshire’s Double-A Fisher Cats lead the Eastern League Northeast division with a 19-11 record, scoring 202 runs while allowing 148, the fewest in the league and third-fewest among Double-A teams. After a 12-4 loss to Portland, the team still showed positives, including Jace Bohrofen reaching double-digit home runs. Bohrofen, a left-handed outfield prospect drafted in 2023, posts a .266/.394/.633 line with 10 home runs in 132 plate appearances, supported by a 159 wRC+. Concerns include a 31.8% strikeout rate. Victor Arias hit his first home run after returning from the injured list. The Fisher Cats host Reading to extend their lead. Elsewhere, the Florida Complex League Blue Jays start 7-0, with limited extra-base production and no home runs yet.
