Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal title and will be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. He was evicted from his longtime royal residence and had previously lost the Duke of York title. Virginia Giuffre released a posthumous memoir, Nobody's Girl, accusing Andrew of sexual assault when she was a teenager; she died by suicide earlier this year. The revelations prompted renewed scrutiny of Jeffrey Epstein's associates, including Donald Trump, and attention to efforts by Republicans to block release of Epstein files. Giuffre's family characterized her as an ordinary American who pursued justice and whose efforts endured.
