Congress passed a law requiring the Justice Department to release its full trove of Jeffrey Epstein documents by today. Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie led the push for that legislation and criticized the released files as overly redacted and incomplete. One New York grand jury file of 119 pages was fully blacked out despite a federal judge's order. The law mandates explanations for redactions, but no explanations were provided for many redacted materials. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche reported identification of about 1,200 victims and said hundreds of thousands of pages were being released, with more to follow. Khanna and Massie are exploring legal and congressional options.
