ICE agents were present in the neighborhood; Omar repeatedly called her son when he did not answer. ICE agents entered the mosque while he was praying but left without taking action; agents also walked around the restaurant. After a stop at Target, he was pulled over by ICE and released after producing his passport. He routinely carries his passport to prove U.S. citizenship. President Trump publicly attacked Omar on Truth Social, calling her derogatory names and suggesting she be expelled.
