Szabolcs Csépe, known as GrassHopper, completed a 144-hour Dance Dance Revolution marathon from October 23–29, 2024, establishing a new Guinness World Record. He danced to an estimated 3,000+ songs and burned more than 22,000 calories during the six-day attempt. The previous record was 138 hours 34 seconds on Just Dance, set in 2015 by Carrie Swidecki. Csépe described the attempt as physically demanding, citing hours of movement without stretching and the need for a small support staff for food and hydration. He also managed and documented witness activities and time allocation himself. Csépe already holds several other marathon gaming records.
