British and German military aircrafts join forces to hunt down Russian submarines
"From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging."
"Britain and Germany will join forces to hunt down Russian submarines. The Royal Air Force (RAF) and Deutsche Marine aircraft will jointly conduct defensive patrols for Russian submarines, working side by side from RAF Lossiemouth, defending NATO's Eastern and Northern flanks. British and German forces will also ramp up their cyber and military co-operation in a bid to strengthen Nato's security."
The Independent solicits donations to fund on-the-ground journalism covering reproductive rights, climate change, Big Tech investigations and documentaries, while keeping reporting accessible without paywalls. Donations enable sending reporters to gather facts, interview diverse perspectives and investigate financial and political forces such as pro-Trump PAC funding. Britain and Germany will join forces to hunt Russian submarines through joint RAF and Deutsche Marine maritime patrols operating from RAF Lossiemouth to defend NATO's eastern and northern flanks. The two countries will increase cyber and military cooperation, enabling the UK's CSOC and the German Cyber and Information Domain Service to share data, intelligence and operational tools securely with NATO allies.
