Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the White House to meet Donald Trump with the possible supply of US Tomahawk cruise missiles expected to dominate talks. Trump has repeatedly hinted he may deliver Tomahawks, calling them powerful and warning they could be used if the war is not settled; the missile’s range reaches up to 1,500 miles and could strike deep into Russia. Trump has proposed further diplomacy with Vladimir Putin, including a potential Budapest meeting, while having softened positions after prior contacts with Putin. Tomahawks would be symbolically significant but are available only in limited numbers, estimated at 20–50.
