"To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the Division of Humanities is organizing a conference titled "Ethics in Chinese Philosophy," which will take place on March 20-21, 2026 (Friday and Saturday) at HKUST. "The number of spaces available for postgraduate presentations is limited. Interested individuals are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 500 words and a CV to ( hmjhung@ust.hk) for the selection process by November 30, 2025. HKUST Division of Humanities will host a conference titled "Ethics in Chinese Philosophy" on March 20–21, 2026 at HKUST. The conference will gather established scholars from institutions across Hong Kong and mainland China, including Peking University, HKUST, Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Presentation papers will be collected and published in a special issue of Asian Studies. Postgraduate presenters may apply with an abstract (maximum 500 words) and a CV to hmjhung@ust.hk by November 30, 2025; selection decisions will be announced in December 2025. Topics span classical Chinese ethical schools and contemporary issues such as AI and technology ethics.
