This increasingly complex project emerged from an interactive process and key breakthroughs by both the government and architects - through ongoing coordination and integration, architects drive the joint renewal of urban and educational spaces."
"It represents a process of architects' proactive intervention and comprehensive resolution of urban architectural renewal needs. The project site features a narrow and elongated shape, with Kunshan Experimental Primary School to the east, adjacent to Kunshan Industrial Technology Research Institute to the west. And it connects two major urban green spaces, Dayu Lake Park and Kunshan Forest Park, at its north and south ends."
An integrated renewal led by architects coordinates government, school, and research stakeholders to transform a constrained site into connected urban and educational space. Collaborative breakthroughs and ongoing coordination enabled design interventions that address complex urban architectural renewal needs. The plan responds to a narrow, elongated parcel positioned between Kunshan Experimental Primary School to the east and Kunshan Industrial Technology Research Institute to the west. The site links Dayu Lake Park and Kunshan Forest Park at opposite ends, creating landscape continuity and improved access. Design emphasis combines proactive architectural strategies, institutional integration, and landscape connectivity to reconcile urban constraints and educational programmatic goals. Intelligent design and client partnerships support technical and programmatic integration.
