The 8th Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2026 announces winners for its Installation Programme Competition and Vision Competition within the “How Much?” curatorial framework. The biennale runs from September 9 to November 30, 2026, with an Opening Week from September 9 to 13. It examines how money, affordability, and resource allocation shape architecture and the built environment, and how contemporary practice negotiates economic constraints and cultural value. The biennale operates as an international platform through exhibitions, competitions, installations, symposia, and a catalogue. Its core programme includes a Curatorial Exhibition, Symposium, Tallinn Vision Competition, Installation Programme, and Catalogue. The Installation Programme Competition winner is “Budget Bougie” by Resonance from Aru Ma-Architects, proposing a temporary outdoor pavilion in front of the Estonian Museum of Architecture in Rotermann. More than 100 submissions from over 30 countries were reviewed by an international jury.
