Tesla is recalling over 1.6 million cars in China due to problems with assisted driving functions and door-locking systems.
The recall will be conducted through remote over-the-air updates, eliminating the need for owners to visit service centers.
This is another blow for Tesla, as it was recently surpassed in EV sales by China's BYD. [ more ]
