The New York Islanders officially hired Benoit Desrosiers as an assistant coach to Patrick Roy.
Desrosiers previously worked under Roy with the Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL.
Desrosiers stepped down as head coach of the Gatineau Olympiques in the QMJHL to join the Islanders coaching staff. [ more ]
