As we wrap up our work on Hyper Light Breaker, we've had to make the difficult decision to part with a number of talented team members. With generative AI, Alexa+ can engage in more natural conversations with users, rather than simply listening to a prompt and responding with a predetermined action. It also supports memory to recall preferences and conversations, maintaining context throughout a conversation. This allows it to remember what you asked at the beginning of a chat and respond in that context without you having to say, "Alexa" again.
The game has its official global release on September 25, but people who preorder the digital deluxe edition ($80) can start playing two days earlier on September 23. Iron Gate's hit survival game sold more than 1 million copies in its first week on Steam, and has since sold more than 12 million total. It currently features cross-play between Xbox and PC and is an Xbox "Play Anywhere" title, meaning purchasing Valheim on Xbox consoles or on PC via the Microsoft Store also grants access to the game on both platforms. It's currently unclear if Valheim on PlayStation will support cross-play between all platforms.
