Just watching the Saints each and every Sunday, just being inspired by Drew Brees, just being inspired by the guys. I actually wore No. 9 in college. So just being inspired by the things around me. People often say, 'You're a product of your environment.' And just watching the same each and every Sunday, growing up, just being around it.
"Good things come to those who wait," the saying goes. "Nothing worth having comes easy" is another famous idiom, and it seems like both apply to Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. This restaurant chain is nowhere near as big as KFC or Popeyes, but fans of Lee's Chicken are hardcore and dedicated. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone who drives an hour to get KFC, but people will do it for Lee's Chicken.
"I'm still not over it," Reznick, 89, told the Daily News. "I was there for 26 hours, and I felt like I was there for a week. You have no idea what they did for us and how they treated us. All the stars were there. It was unbelievable, absolutely wonderful."
