Due to market dynamics in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, we shared with our team today that we are proposing to close all company-operated Gap Specialty and Gap Outlet stores in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland in a phased manner from the end of August through the end of September 2021. We are thoughtfully moving through the consultation process with our European team, and we will provide support and transition assistance for our colleagues as we look to wind down stores.

I'm admittedly a denim snob. I typically shop premium denim for myself and my clients and am always ready to give a myriad of reasons jeans are worth investing in. Then, I tried on Gap's $90 high-rise Stride wide-leg ankle jeans. Y'all, I loved these jeans. They felt high-quality and sturdy, and I immediately wanted to purchase them - perhaps in several different washes. I'm 5'4", so while I don't seek out petite styles, the ankle length was perfect.

You could feel the energy bursting out of GAP's headquarters in San Francisco; even the city's mayor showed up. Gap is relaunching its early 2000s "long and lean" denim style, first available between 2001 and 2010, for $89.95, in ten new washes and updated designs.
