"I'm not proud of the fact that one time in Chicago, I had a bucket full of hundreds of live worms that perished. But I did that. I did it and I regret it," she says. "I think that's why I love practical effects and props and stuff - it's been an adventure on how not everything has to be real."

Greg's new stand-up special, Greg Fitzsimmons: You Know Me, was recorded on November 18, 2023 at The Comedy Mothership in Austin, TX. After 35 years performing stand-up, You Know Me, finds Greg hilariously reflecting on 34 years of sobriety, sex with a 57-year-old woman, convincing your children that you're cool, and combating loneliness on the road. And he realizes, he's happy where he is.
In his typical style, C.K. opened with a gut-puncher to a sold-out house of nearly 3,000 seats and had the audience roaring into the night. I got an AIDS test today, he said as the crowd murmured. I haven't had sex in years. I just wanted some good news. The audience burst into laughter. As they quieted, C.K. took a beat and said, Turns out I have AIDS.
An inconspicuous comedian, Millican appears to be someone that you might see at a Sunday church service or a person you might pass at a grocery store. However, don't let this "ordinary" appearance fool you. Millican is a pistol on the stage. After sampling her previous shows via YouTube, I'm happy to report her sets filled with wild talk of intimacy, genitalia, and dating apps, all with a softness and smile about her that genuinely caught me a bit off guard.
Is Lewis Black okay? That's the natural fear many fans had when the comedian who has been mad-as-hell-and-not-going-to-take-it-anymore for decades announced that he actually wasn't going to do it anymore. The now 77-year-old stand-up legend has retired from touring, and his recent Goodbye Yeller Brick Road performances were his last. But Black, the longest-serving contributor to The Daily Show, whose appearances started back in 1996 when Craig Kilborn (remember him?) was still the host, is not finished with comedy.
Being Eddie, a new Netflix documentary on Eddie Murphy, isn't his best movie. It isn't his worst. It's something to justify signing the 64-year-old to a $70m production deal in hopes that he might finally be moved to return to his standup comedy roots and deliver the long-anticipated follow-up to his seminal 1987 special Raw. With access to the subject and his archival material bought and paid for, Being Eddie is free to focus on other aspects of Murphy's life,
Filmed in Maniscalco's hometown of Chicago at the iconic United Center arena, the hour-long show pokes fun at all things like his sleeping habits. "I have a mild case of sleep apnea. This is where I'm at. I'm going to duct tape my mouth shut so I don't pass away in my sleep. If someone came to rob my house, they would look at me and go, 'Someone was already here. Let's go,'" Maniscalco jokes in the show's trailer.

As an Israeli Jew fluent in Hebrew, Arabic and English, Shuster Eliassi could nimbly weave between different audiences, and what started as short comedic videos on social media soon became an invitation from Harvard to develop a full-on stand-up routine skewering the idea of coexistence as it's often used in the Israeli-Palestinian context. The show would riff on her upbringing in one of the only joint Israeli-Palestinian communities in the country, threading a fine needle with self-deprecating humor and an activist's edge.
with Nguyen, who will share her journey as the child of Vietnamese refugees and how her family's story shaped her life and career.
