'It wouldn't let us out of the car': Waymo's self-driving vehicles keep getting roasted online
Briefly

Waymo's recent expansion into Austin has led to an influx of social media posts highlighting bizarre and frustrating experiences with its driverless cars. Users, such as TikTok user Becky Levin Navarro, documented instances where the vehicles navigated incorrectly, trapping passengers in inappropriate locations and causing communication issues with customer service. Despite Waymo's assurance that passengers can exit the vehicles at their discretion, many instances of awkward behavior, including honking and traffic jams, have led to a wave of online trolling and negative feedback.
Waymo riders always have the ability to pause their ride and exit the vehicle when desired. Passengers can exit the vehicle by pulling the handle twice.
This is the most insane thing. We're in a Waymo, here, under Mopac. It was going the wrong way, we called customer support, it stopped us right here and wouldn't let us out of the car.
