American Conservatory Theater announced its 2026/27 season, featuring the Tony Award-winning play about an imagined version of Mary Todd Lincoln as an alcoholic cabaret performer. The production, which won Tonys for star Cole Escola and director Sam Pinkleton, continues its Broadway run with rotating cast members including Jinkx Monsoon, Titus Burgess, Jane Krakowski, and Maya Rudolph. ACT is partnering with ATG San Francisco to bring the touring production to the Curran Theater. The play was also a Pulitzer Prize finalist and won Drama League Awards. This season marks the final programming curated by ACT Artistic Director Pam McKinnon after eight years leading the theater.
