Atlanta Falcons vs. Minnesota Vikings injury report Week 2
"Looking at the Falcons first, there were no big changes on Thursday. It's essentially the same as Wednesday's report, but with the addition of rookie corner Billy Bowman Jr. who was limited with a shoulder issue. This will certainly be something we keep an eye on heading into Friday's final practice. There was no update on Drake London, but as of now he is expected to play on Sunday night."
"They did have a downgrade to keep an eye on. Left tackle Christian Darrisaw, who was notably absent from the Vikings' Monday night nail-biter with the Chicago Bears in Week 1, was downgraded to limited on Thursday after practicing fully on Wednesday. Another note, linebacker Blake Cashman and running back Ty Chandler have both been removed from the injury report because they have been placed on IR."
Falcons list multiple Week 2 injuries including CB Billy Bowman Jr. (shoulder), EDGE James Pearce Jr. (groin), WRs Darnell Mooney and Drake London (shoulders), S DeMarcco Hellams (hamstring), WR Casey Washington (concussion), and DL Elijah Williams (hamstring). Bowman was limited Thursday and London has no update but is expected to play Sunday night. Vikings have a heavier injury slate including CB Isaiah Rodgers (elbow), OL Christian Darrisaw (knee), RB Zavier Scott (ankle), S Harrison Smith (illness), LBs Andrew Van Ginkel and Blake Cashman (Cashman on IR), CB Jeff Okudah (concussion), and QB J.J. McCarthy (personal). Darrisaw was downgraded to limited and Cashman is expected to miss several weeks.
