First Look: The New Yeti LTe is a Bosch-Powered e-Enduro Trail Slayer
"Yeti may have been a little later to the eMTB game than some other brands, but they came out swinging with the 160e a few years back. That bike was designed specifically to take on e-EWS (e-EDR) races and was piloted to numerous World Cup victories and podiums over the past few years. More recently, Yeti introduced the MTe, a lightweight, mid-power eMTB that has been incredibly well received."
"Yeti made numerous changes to the bike's geometry, but the biggest update is the move to a Bosch drive system from the Shimano setup on the outgoing model. The LTe sports the same travel as its predecessor, with 160 mm of Sixfinity rear suspension paired with a 170 mm fork. This is a race-inspired bike, and it comes spec'd with speed-oriented 29-inch wheels front and rear."
The Yeti LTe is an updated long-travel eMTB derived from the 160e platform, redesigned with refreshed geometry and a Bosch drive system replacing the previous Shimano setup. The frame retains the Sixfinity suspension layout and 160 mm rear travel paired with a 170 mm fork. The bike ships with 29-inch wheels front and rear for speed, and an MX flip-chip allows switching to a 27.5-inch rear wheel without altering geometry. Carbon frame options include higher-tier T-Series and more affordable C-Series layups reinforced with Vectran for increased impact resistance. The bike targets e-enduro racing while remaining enjoyable for non-race riding.
