"Although the new Yeti Cycles LTe shares a few similarities with the , the bike is distinctly different, and I view it as a slight evolution of the . The LTe is proudly race-bred and designed to go fast. This is thanks in part to the new drive unit, Sixfinity suspension, and tweaked geometry, but it also has a lot to do with the development and refinement of the chassis that was introduced with the Yeti Cycles 160e."
"While the outgoing Yeti Cycles 160e was a Shimano EP8-powered machine, the new LTe takes a new approach with a Bosch drive unit and is available in two flavors. The base Bosch CX is available on the C2 and T3 build options, while the top-spec T4 build gets the more responsive and powerful Bosch CX Race drive unit, along with a few other special features that warrant the almost $15k USD price tag."
"Yeti Cycles has begun expanding further into the eMTB industry with the MTe, a unique, lightweight e-mountain bike powered by a TQ HPR60 drive unit and utilizing the fresh new Sixfinity suspension platform found on the Yeti 160e. Given the reception of the MTe and Ryan Gilchrist of Yeti / Shimano EP Racing team having an incredible season on the Yeti 160e during the 2024 UCI E-Enduro World Cup,"
Yeti Cycles expanded its eMTB lineup with the LTe, a race-oriented electric mountain bike built for speed and performance. The LTe pairs a refined chassis derived from the 160e with Sixfinity suspension, tweaked geometry, and a new Bosch drive unit to enhance responsiveness. Two Bosch-powered configurations are offered: Bosch CX on C2 and T3 builds, and the Bosch CX Race on the top-spec T4, which includes additional high-end features and approaches a $15,000 USD price. Entry-level LTe builds start just over $10,000 USD. Prior Yeti eMTBs include the lightweight MTe powered by a TQ HPR60.
