A fatal collision occurred on Friday night at approximately 9:20pm on the A355 in Buckinghamshire involving a white Toyota Yaris, a grey Toyota Hilux, and a motorbike. A 15-year-old girl, who was a passenger on the motorbike, died as a result of the crash. The 16-year-old boy riding the motorbike was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Two additional teenagers from High Wycombe—a 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl who were on a separate motorbike—were also arrested on the same charge. Thames Valley Police made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct because a police vehicle was nearby on the opposite carriageway without emergency lights activated. Investigators are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage from the area.
