The deadly altercation occurred after two vehicles collided around 7:40 p.m. on Saturday near Willbeam Avenue and Norbridge Avenue, according to Castro Valley News on Facebook. When officers arrived, they found one of the individuals involved had serious visible injuries, the outlet reported. The person was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The man was later identified as Jason Elola, 49, a father of nine and grandfather of four.
Three people have died after a crash near Tillsonburg, about 43 kilometres from London, Ont., said Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Officers responded to a collision between an SUV and pickup truck on Mall Road between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line around 4 p.m. Friday, said a news release from the OPP. Police said both passengers of the pickup truck were transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but were later pronounced dead.
