OTM Open Thread 4/29: Oh, Canada
Briefly

The Boston Red Sox are currently experiencing the most rigorous schedule in Major League Baseball, having played 30 games in just 33 days. Unlike teams like the Cubs and Dodgers, who had an earlier start, the Red Sox have been navigating this demanding stretch without substantial breaks. Fortunately, the remainder of the season promises at least one off-day per week, which will support bullpen management and personal activities for the players. Notably, Lucas Giolitio is set to join the rotation, debuting in Toronto and aiming to bolster the team further during this intensive period.
Did you know the Red Sox have played 30 games in 33 days? That's the most in the big leagues, even more than the Cubs and Dodgers, who got a two-game head start.
For the rest of the season, save for a week or two, they'll get at least one off-day, which should go a long way in managing the bullpen and allowing me to check movies off my watchlist.
Lucas Giolitio should also help that cause by bringing a new arm to the rotation. He makes his long-awaited Red Sox debut tonight in Toronto.
It's the first of a three-game series to end the road trip.
