Unai Emery has expressed commitment to supporting Marcus Rashford during his loan at Aston Villa as the forward aims to return to his best form. After struggling at Manchester United, Rashford joined Villa and is showing promise, having already assisted both goals in a recent win over Chelsea. Emery emphasized the importance of creating a comfortable environment for Rashford to rebuild his confidence and highlighted his early contributions, including being the joint-leader in assists and dribbles in the Premier League since his debut for the club.
"Support him. Help him. Try to [make him] feel comfortable here. Try to get confidence with us," Emery told Sky Sports when asked about his approach to Rashford.
"Of course, he played a fantastic 45 minutes. And really this is the only thing. We want to try to be consistent through him, in our squad and in our way we are going to do that."
"Since his debut for Aston Villa, Marcus Rashford has created the most big chances in the Premier League (4). He also has the joint-most assists (2)."
