Three planes from Jordan and one from France dropped aid, including food and hygiene supplies. Airdrops are expensive and less efficient than road delivery.
France stressed the imperative need to open ports and establish land corridors for aid delivery in Gaza. Airdrops, while helpful, are not sufficient to meet the overwhelming needs of Gaza's population.
