Google is unveiling the Pixel 10 series and Pixel Buds 2a on August 20. The Pixel Buds 2a are successors to the Pixel Buds A-Series released in 2021 and will be more affordable. They feature a 7-hour battery life, with 20 hours when used alongside the charging case. The buds support Spatial audio without head tracking and include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), but lack the upgraded "Silent Seal 2.0" technology found in Pixel Buds Pro 2. They will be available in two colors resembling black and white.
The Pixel Buds 2a are expected to have a 7-hour battery life (20 hours with the charging case) and support Spatial audio, lacking head tracking.
While the Pixel Buds 2a will feature ANC, they will not have the "Silent Seal 2.0" technology, making their performance inferior to the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
