In Game 3 of the Western Conference playoffs, Steph Curry stepped up significantly for the Golden State Warriors, scoring 36 points in a 104-93 victory against the Houston Rockets. The Warriors capitalized on critical performances from their supporting players, including Buddy Hield's 17 points and Draymond Green's strong defense despite missing Jimmy Butler. While the team was initially out-rebounded in the series, improvements were evident, as they managed to reduce the disparity in rebounds and scored effectively in the paint.
Curry had help, too. Buddy Hield came off the bench and scored 17 points, and Draymond Green was a defensive standout against Houston's massive lineups with seven points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals.
The Warriors continued to show improvement by being out-rebounded by just six on Saturday and outscored the Rockets 44-38 in the paint.
