Dodgers Activate Blake Snell

Blake Snell has been activated from the 60-day injured list after dealing with left shoulder inflammation. He previously signed a five-year, $182MM contract with the Dodgers but was sidelined following only two starts. Snell is set to start this afternoon against the Rays. In a corresponding move, right-hander Paul Gervase has been optioned to the minor leagues. The team is yet to announce how they will adjust their 40-man roster to accommodate Snell's return.
