Tom Hanks makes a big splash on the Westside with pair of home sales

The Spanish-style villa, built in 1933 and formerly owned by screenwriter Frank Pierson, spans approximately 4,000 square feet with four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and original architectural details. The English Traditional home, constructed in 1957, contains 7,300 square feet with seven bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, a screening room, and billiard room. Both properties offer panoramic canyon views. Hanks and Wilson acquired the homes separately in 2003 and 2007 for a combined $13.1 million. The sale was handled by agents Mary Lu Tuthill and David Offer, with the buyer being a California-based limited liability company.
