The Minnesota Vikings have included two male cheerleaders, Blaize Shiek and Louie Conn, in their 2025 roster. They are the first male cheerleaders for the team since the 1990s. Although new to Vikings fans, male cheerleaders have previously been part of the team's history and are common in college and professional cheerleading. In 2019, the Los Angeles Rams featured two male cheerleaders during the Super Bowl. Shiek and Conn aim to inspire young dancers and made their debut at a preseason game on August 9.
