President Biden confirmed his willingness to debate former President Trump, in response to pressure from media networks and Trump's campaign, after months of avoiding a commitment.
Some of Biden's aides disapproved of the debate system, organized by the Commission on Presidential Debates. Trump had aggressively pushed for a debate, using public pressure tactics.
