Police believe he had been shot on the Westbury Estate. A crime scene remained in place as they appealed for witnesses. No arrests had been made yet.
Detective Inspector Martin Thorpe expressed condolences to the victim's family and urged the community to come forward with any information or footage that could assist the investigation.
