After the previous operators of the cafe at Clissold House went into administration in March 2024, Fink's, a popular collection of delis and cafes, is set to take over the space. Known for their quality food sourced from local suppliers, Fink's has established a strong community presence in the area with their coffee shop at Pump House, alongside various locations in North and East London. While details on the menu are not available yet, co-founder Jess Blackstone emphasizes that the new café will be tailored to the Clissold Park community, distinct from their other sites. An official opening date is expected in 2025.
Speaking to Hackney Post, co-founder Jess said that it's going to be similar, but not the same. It's not going to be a duplicate Fink's because we want to make something that's specific to the park and the park community.
Fink's already operates a coffee shop at the Pump House on the Green Lanes edge of the park. They have a beloved reputation for their stacked sarnies and homemade cakes.
