I urgently want to hear from anyone who believes they may have hit someone in their car yesterday, or who has noticed a change in behaviour from someone they know who drives, or who has noticed damage to a vehicle."
"A member of the public found the unidentified man, believed to have been aged between 40 and 50, in Cash's Park off Daimler Road at around 5pm on Friday. West Midlands Police believe the man could have been hit by a vehicle before being moved to the park."
A member of the public discovered the body of an unidentified man, estimated to be between 40 and 50 years old, in a green-lidded wheelie bin at Cash's Park off Daimler Road in Coventry on Friday at approximately 5pm. West Midlands Police are investigating the death as a potential hit-and-run incident, believing the man was struck by a vehicle before being relocated to the park. Officers are collaborating with Coventry City Council to determine the bin's original location. Detective Chief Inspector Phil Poole is appealing for information from anyone who may have hit someone with their car, noticed suspicious behavior changes in drivers they know, or observed vehicle damage.
