A 41-year-old man named Anthony Morrison was shot dead near a Costco in Croydon on June 19. Byron Cole, aged 39, has been charged with his murder along with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. Morrison was discovered injured around 5pm and was pronounced dead at the site. A 37-year-old woman, involved in the case, was arrested for allegedly assisting an offender but has been released on bail. Cole remains in custody and will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court shortly.
