Dodgers manager reveals Hyeseong Kim is not 100% healthy
Briefly

Hyeseong Kim began the season in Triple-A Oklahoma City for acclimatization to the MLB, later being recalled due to injuries. Despite impressive performance, his playing time has been limited, partly due to a left shoulder issue which Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed affects his swing. Kim has played in all eight games since the All-Star break but has seen a spike in strikeouts. Notably, he had a better performance recently, hitting 2-for-3 against Garrett Crochet, despite ongoing shoulder discomfort.
Hyeseong Kim has played through a left shoulder issue for the last five or six days, per Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. Won't play tomorrow. "I think it's been affecting his swing a little bit...I think that's some of the reason why there's a little bit more swing and miss than there has been."
Other than a spike in his strikeouts, there wasn't any overt sign Kim was experiencing shoulder trouble until Friday's game at Fenway Park. Joe Davis noted Kim grimaced after a swing and never seemed to get comfortable.
Kim was back in the lineup on Saturday, finishing 2-for-3 with one strikeout, indicating a positive return. Both hits were against Garrett Crochet, who had 10 strikeouts over six innings.
Although Kim is not 100%, he's played in all eight games (seven starts) since the All-Star break.
