Briefly

Real Estate have announced their upcoming album, Daniel, set for release on February 23rd, 2024 via Domino Recording Co. As a preview, the New Jersey outfit has shared their first single from the album, 'Water Underground,' and announced a 2024 North American tour.
Recorded with Grammy-winning producer Daniel Tashian, Daniel aims to 'connect the uninhibited wonder of Real Estate's earliest work with the earned perspective of adulthood.' The band reunited in Nashville for the album, sharing a rental space after being separated from each other for the past few years.
As for 'Water Underground,' Martin Courtney of Real Estate said that the single is a song about writing songs. 'I think 'Water Underground' is like the unconscious, the mysterious part of your brain where creativity comes from,' he said in a press release. 'You get an idea while driving or walking the dog or something and you want to hold on to it.'
Real Estate's 2024 North American tour runs from March through May, and includes dates in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Toronto, Nashville, and more.
