Café Maud, popular for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse menu, is set to open a second location in New York City’s Upper East Side in mid-July 2025. The move comes as a response to a rising demand from locals for brunch and happy hour spots like their original location in the East Village. Founded by a group of Irish restaurateurs, Cafe Maud's upcoming spot will feature an open-air café vibe, serving everything from breakfast to wood-fired pizzas, aiming to replicate its successful concept from downtown.
"Having seen the response to it in the East Village, we heard about the iconic 5 Mile Stone location on the Upper East Side coming available, so we jumped at the opportunity."
"We were lucky enough to get a deal done and considered it an ideal location and opportunity to copy and paste what has been our best-received concept to date."
