Barbra Streisand is set to release her new album, "The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two," featuring eleven tracks with renowned artists including Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and Mariah Carey. The album, which blends covers and original songs, showcases Streisand's passion for collaboration, highlighted by a duet with Hozier on the classic "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face." Streisand expresses her admiration for her collaborators and the joy they bring to her musical process, aiming for listeners to enjoy these new interpretations just as much as she enjoyed creating them. The album launches on June 25.
"I've always loved singing duets with gifted artists. They inspire me in unique and different ways... and make our time in the studio a joy," Streisand said in a statement.
"The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two" comprises covers and original tracks. It will be released June 25.
First up is an emotive cover of "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" with Hozier. Streisand and Hozier give it their own spin.
