Brandon Harris, 36, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for pushing an 82-year-old woman onto subway tracks at the Flushing-Main Street station. The attack occurred on October 2, 2024, resulting in spinal fractures and other injuries for the victim. Harris pleaded guilty to attempted murder in the second degree. After the incident, he approached an NYPD officer claiming someone was knocked on the train. The victim was hospitalized for her injuries, and Harris was later identified as the suspect.
